Q: I know that a person may be held accountable for leading others to sin or harm. I am trying to be different than how I was in the past, but I don’t know if Allah will forgive me for those things, especially if some people might still be doing it, maybe even some people I don’t know, too.
A: You have to remember that Allah (swt) is the most gracious and most merciful. The fact that you realized that it was wrong and asked for forgiveness means that you are now conscious of your actions. Continue making dua to guide yourself and those others to the straight path, and Allah (swt) will forgive and guide you.
May Allah (swt) forgive us for our sins!
