Is it permissible for me as a Muslim, to visit my friend’s house when they are celebrating stuff such as CNY or Diwali? Would this be considered shirk? I go there not to celebrate it but just to visit them the way they visit during Ramadan. Salaam and Jummah Mubarak! Of course you can. Islam
