What qualifications do you have to answer questions about Islam? I ask as you made such horrible translation mistakes in your answer on LGBT people it is as if you created an ayah.

What do u think of people that say that Islam isn't a religion. Its an ideology. I've started to agree because the term religion undermines what deen actually means.

Is it possible to believe that the Koran is divinely inspired without believing that Mohammed was the 'perfect man'? I am not a muslim but I see no problem believing that Mohammed was divinely connected to a higher spiritual force who gave a message that was needed in his time and place. I see great dangers historically in all humanity with cults of personality and how bias of infalliability clouds the mind. To me many doubts and concerns about Islam are answered if Mohammed is as human as you and me, I actually find it less believable and accessible to be told that he was something superhuman incapable of flaw.
I am aware that some muslims base their authority upon him being perfect but to me that doesn't answer the question.

Ayat al-Kursi
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٌۭ وَلَا نَوْمٌۭ ۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
Allāhu lā ilāha illā Huwa-l-Ḥayyu-l-Qayyūm, lā ta’khudhuhū sinatuw-wa lā nawm, lahū mā fi-s-samāwāti wa mā fi-l-arḍ, man dhā’lladhī yashfaʿu ʿindahū illā bi-idhnih, yaʿlamu mā bayna aydīhim wa mā khalfahum, wa lā yuḥīṭūna bi-shay’im-min ʿilmihī illā bi-mā shā’, wasiʿa kursiyyuhu-s-samāwāti wa-l-arḍ, wa lā ya’ūduhū ḥifẓuhumā wa Huwa-l-ʿAlliyu-l-ʿAẓīm.
"Allah, there is no god but He, the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him Alone belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except with His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. (2:255)"

How do I navigate Islam as a female convert/revert that has been married to a Non Muslim man for a longer time than being Muslim? It seems pointless to be Muslim when I am being told I should leave the only man that has ever allowed me and encouraged me to practice Islam and that our relationship is haram and that we are committing Zina.

Salamu alaykum. I am a revert of 2.5 years and my parents are atheist. My parents have said they love the changes I’ve made over the years (prioritizing family, being more respectful, etc). However, anytime I talk about Islam they are blinded by misconceptions and argue with me over misinterpreted verses. In the past there was a year where I didn’t speak to them about Islam and we never argued, but I felt so lost and felt like an imposter due to me not being able to live authentically. How do I balance trying to show them the beauty of Islam and protecting my peace? I want to wear the hijab so badly, but I know they would be furious.

I'm a revert and my coworker is not well off, I bought their kids a fair bit of presents around nthe end of November ish, and they are using them as Xmas presents. I was wondering if this is considered haram or not if I do it next year
